BROWN CARAWAY SEED LOAF

A lovely dense loaf with a mild aniseed flavour – A one bowl mix and bake.
Ingredients
- 240g Nutty wheat flour
- 240g brown flour
- 1 tsp toasted caraway seeds
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 7ml bi-carb
- 500ml natural yoghurt with live cultures
- ¾ sultanas
- Pumpkin seeds for sprinkling on top
Method
1. Preheat oven 180º C
2. Mix all the ingredients together, spoon into a greased loaftin and bake for 1 hour or until a skewer pressed into it the middle of the loaf comes out clean.
3. Cool on a wire cooling rack
4. Serve with a lashing of cold butter and slabs of mature cheddar cheese
